Plug Valves

A plug valve is a valve that controls fluid flow using a plug with a hole in the center. The plug can rotate inside the valve body. When the hole is aligned with the inlet and outlet, fluid flows freely. When the plug is turned 90 degrees, the flow is blocked.

Plug valves are simple to use and maintain, making them ideal for quick shut-off in applications like oil, gas, and water systems. They are made from materials like stainless steel, brass, or plastic and provide a tight seal when closed, preventing leaks.
