Piston Valves

A piston valve is a type of valve used to control the flow of liquids or gases. It has a cylindrical piston inside that moves up and down to either allow or block the flow. The valve body is usually made of strong materials like cast iron or stainless steel, while the piston is fitted with sealing rings that prevent leaks.

When the piston is lifted, fluid flows through the valve; when it’s lowered, the flow is stopped completely. Piston valves are reliable, easy to maintain, and are often used in systems that deal with high pressure, such as steam, water, or gas pipelines. They are known for being durable and offering a tight seal to prevent leaks.
