Diaphragm Valves
A diaphragm valve is a type of valve that controls fluid flow using a flexible diaphragm. The diaphragm, made from materials like rubber or PTFE, sits above the valve body. When pressure is applied, the diaphragm pushes down to seal off the flow. When the pressure is released, the diaphragm lifts, allowing fluid to pass through.
These valves are great for applications that need precise control, especially for corrosive or sensitive liquids, like in food processing or pharmaceuticals. Diaphragm valves provide a tight seal, reducing the risk of contamination and making them easy to maintain.
