Check Valves

A check valve is a valve that allows fluid to flow in only one direction, preventing any backflow. It works automatically, without needing any control. Inside the valve, there’s a disc or flap that opens when fluid flows in the correct direction. If the flow tries to go backward, the disc closes to stop it.

Check valves are commonly used in plumbing, drainage, and industrial systems to protect equipment and keep everything running smoothly. They come in various types, like swing and ball check valves, and are made from materials such as brass, stainless steel, or plastic.
